The first (4) items on the agenda – relate to Whittlesey, and there was some ‘surprising’ decision making (right or wrong) on these applications….if you fancy viewing 4+ hours on YouTube – you will be enlightened – that said the (4) are at the beginning of the meeting (first 2 hours)….

Even in the early stages of the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic we were asked how the UK’s death toll compares to other countries. Unfortunately making international comparisons is not a straightforward task; from different data collection methods to different population structures there’s multiple factors to consider. With the A605 closed, traffic is now having to use either North Bank or Church St/Ramsey Road to access Peterborough…Just witnessed what will be daytime norm – traffic backed up, Busses, HGV’s trying to negotiated a small ‘B’ road and some inconsiderates – parking on ‘double yellows’ not helping…. Ah well – as we said….worse things happen at sea..

Tomorrow Thursday 30th July – Peterborough Road A605 will be closed to traffic for 2 weeks….residents and businesses have received a letter.

North West Anglia NHS Foundation Trust said the last death related to the virus at the Peterborough hospital occurred on July 16. The statistics were updated at midnight.

However the virus is still there – it is going nowhere fast – be careful…
