NHW Are Still Helping Our Community

Below is what has been distributed to our 43 NHW Co-Ordinators in Whittlesey/Eastrea & Coates.

I am sure you are more than up to date with the Prime Ministers press conference yesterday.

Below is a summary of the latest advice.

As previously – we @ NHW are still registered with The Fenland Hub as a point of contact for anyone who we may be able to help or assist under the latest rules.
Fenland Hub telephone number is 01354 654321

I know there are still some active NHW members who are still helping and assisting their neighbours.

It is important that we maintain contact with our neighbours – especially the more elderly – many/most have adapted very well and are
more or less independent in their requirements – however a short conversation/phone call will be I am sure most welcome.

Hopefully we will not be inundated with calls or requests – but we will be here if required.
If any of you need help or assistance – please let me know…..

We have been fortunate in Fenland/Whittlesey not to have had a larger number of COVID infections – or deaths – but the numbers have been
increasing in the last week or so.

Our thanks again for your help…Stay Safe – Keep Safe

or essential services such as blood donation or food banks

although there are exceptions, such as work trips
  • People will be told to avoid all non-essential travel by private or public transport
