Someone asked me – how do I relax – well of course I often state that I go out collecting other peoples rubbish and litter as being ‘therapeutic’ – but with this year being somewhat ‘different’ and ‘challenging’ for many – the nice days that we have had – I decided to reovate our 50+ year old ‘Ships Wheel’ and QE2 ‘Jubilee Bench’ – the ‘Wheel’ has been a real challenge to say the least – hanging on the garage wall in all elements – it has had the occasional bit of TLC – but this year I found ‘tens of thousands’ of wood spiders had ‘eaten’ their way of about 40% – so some 10 weeks later and sorry, no before picture. All is complete – not perfect – but I am sure it will last me out –
It sits on a ‘proper’ ‘boss’ and can be ‘steered’ if need be – after a few drinks…
