Some Are Asking – What Is WTC Doing For The Jubilee?

As most are aware there will be a ‘Picnic|In The|Park’ at The Manor Field on Sunday 05th June.
When I asked the ‘questioners’ whether they would like to help with a project – Ah – No time| Too busy|
Whittlesey Town Councils Projects Committee are as many know planning a lasting memorial to the Queens Green Canopy.
I am the Co-ordinator for the project and at next weeks ‘Projects Committee’ meeting
(01st June) I will be giving members the lastest news and updates on where the project is at present.
Whittlesey Town Council are fully supporting this project.

I can inform that 52 pledges by Individuals, Businesses and Community Groups have very generously donated the funding required to get the project well on its way.
There will be an update next week after the Projects Committee meeting.
