Along with several other Councillors, we did our ‘Stewarding H&S’ of the event – as usual I did the 12:00 to 17:00 shift and it was hot.
The numbers attending appeared slightly down on other events, but everyone on the whole enjoyed themselves.
Cllr Eamonn Dorling had his ‘clicker’ with him and recorded a maximum of 394 at 15:40

At this weeks full council meeting there is on the agenda – item for next years events to be debated.
As many are aware I ran a ‘poll’ to see whether the events should be moved or rotated – unfortunately the ‘poll’ became corrupted due to multi-voting.

• The Vision Zero Partnership will be hosting the Road Safety Day of Action. For more information on the Partnership: https://www.cprsp.co.uk/about
• The Vision Zero Partnership held an event in Ely, September 2021 in partnership with Project EDWARD and it was very successful. We hope to recreate this success this year.
• We have been holding Road Safety Days of Actions in each of the districts this year, May – November. Reports on each of these can be found on https://www.cprsp.co.uk/news
• This event will be larger and has a larger social media push due to it coinciding with Project EDWARD.

A very good turn out of committee members including myself – 9 of us.
The Whittlesey Christmas Extravaganza is another event put on for our community by ‘Volunteers’ – who raise several thousand £££’s to put the family event on.
The planning is now well advanced and the date for this years Xtra Event is….
Saturday 10th December 2022.
