Help Police- Eyes & Ears – Report -Report
We’re still asking you to stay vigilant and help us prevent destructive ram raids like this 
Follow the advice below and report any concerns on web chat or 101, quoting Op ATMosphere.
Ensure your vehicles have working trackers installed – particularly owners of high-performance cars, ‘heavy vehicles’ such as transits and flat beds
Consider installing video doorbells or CCTV
Report anything suspicious, for example people scoping houses or tampering with number plates
Report people appearing to be paying attention to ATM machines, including taking photos or unauthorised people attaching ‘out of order’ signs to give an impression the machine is not working properly
Raise concerns about anything that doesn’t feel quite right involving high performance cars, ‘heavy vehicles’ or plant travelling in the vicinity towns and villages during the hours of darkness
Report high-performance or ‘heavy’ vehicles that are not usually in the area and appear to have been left parked for a few days…..

Monday 8 January: 8am to 8pm
Tuesday 9 January: 8am to 8pm
Wednesday 10 January: 8am to 8pm
Thursday 11 January: 8am to 6pm
Friday 12 January: 8am to 5pm
Saturday 13 January: 11am to 8pm
Sunday 14 January: 8am to 5pm
Outside of these hours, please use the yellow phone.

Water – Water Everywhere….
Like many parts of the country, floods and risk of flooding is concerning to many, along with national stories of ‘drivers’ deliberately going through water fast and drenching anyone close by. Here issues (historic) along Eastrea Road A605, has been reported on a number of occasions, Highways been out and said ‘BIG’ job to fix.
Last week 2 residends complained to us Councillors and again a team effort applied to Highways…..
We now understand ‘they’ will be attempting to rectify the poroblem later in the year.

Updated II – Manor Swimming Pool Access Steps
I am pleased to report that after some ‘months’ the access steps used to enter the swimming pool are about to be returned next week after repairs.
This has been somewhat of a ‘challenge’ to Freedom Leisure in getting them repaired.
I was told that it was not only difficult to find a suitable qualified repairer, but these types of steps are difficult to find – my mistake taking advice from some one without doing my own research – I find there are several manufacturers (UK based) of such steps and one which is very similar to our own.
I am informed that the steps illustrated below are no longer in manufacture.
I have informed Freedom Leisure of my findings….

The Bus Debacle Carry On….
Our County Councillor(s) are trying to engage with and too very little avail with the Combined Authority Mayor (Dr) Nik Johnson in regards to Bus (or lack) services within our area. No bus what-so-ever on a Sunday……
Of course Dr Nik has his own agenda in regards to these services and where best to put £Millions of subsidies, then of course there is the ‘Tax’ which he imposed last year, and looks likely to increase this year (A stealth tax in any other language).

New buses, improved transport links and smart tech – looking back at the GCP’s delivery in 2023
New buses and infrastructure to improve people’s daily journeys have been delivered by the Greater Cambridge Partnership in 2023.
From the start of work on the Greenways network, to the continued construction of the Milton Road project and 30 new electric buses joining the city’s fleet, here we look back on the projects delivered and the decisions taken by the GCP over the past 12 months.
