Some Idiot(s) from Peterborough Went to Durdle Door
On BBC Radio® today a local Councillor stated that people had come from far and wide to Durdle Door including Peterborough….a 400+ mile round trip if they did it in a day…Maybe they camped on the beach…. You have seen the horrendous pictures….
The Rubbish, The Mess, and the rest which I won’t mention.
Remain and Stay Safe – ‘We’/Us’ know the ‘Virus’ has NOT gone away…. try telling that to the Bournmouth Crowds…

Unfortuantely someone has NOT read the article properly – and has been into the
Independent Chemists on Market Street and said that ‘I’ had posted that he was closing’
That is NOT the case and was NOT the post –
Boots High Causeway is Closing
The Independent Chemist will remain OPEN and will take on the
Boots High Causeway customers.
The Independent Chemist (Mr Dell) will be celebrating 10 years of very good service on the 16th August 2020

Somwhat Disappointed – No Enforcement @ FDC
FDC stated that there had been over 200 reported cases of ‘businesses’ allegedly carrying on – in contradiction of COVID-19 rules. Not one prosecution – I have received a small number of people who have contacted me in this respect and will in due course pass on their concerns back to FDC.
Here in Whittlesey there were several reports of ‘businesses’ carrying on despite receiving letters informing them that they should not be doing so.
So now with ‘Local Authorities’ being given the task (enforcing) the latest Governments rules, we must wonder whether FDC have the capacity to monitor businesses.
The ten businesses still not allowed to reopen:
- Nightclubs
- Casinos
- Bowling alleys and indoor skating rinks
- Indoor play areas including soft-play
- Spas
- Nail bars and beauty salons
- Massage, tattoo and piercing parlours
- Gyms and dance studios
- Swimming pools and water parks
- Exhibition and conference centres

Yet Another Report – Scam-Scam & More Scams
The caller had a male and said their name was “Matthew”
He stated he was calling about the lagging in the loft.
When told there wasn’t a loft in the property the caller abruptly ended the call.
The suspect number is 01618 089840
If you use a website https://who-called.co.uk you can research any telephone number, and it may not surprise you that in this case there are hundreds of reports about the telephone number suggesting it is scam. One of the reports mentions Matthew and loft insulation. SCAM!
STOP – Take a moment to stop and think before you part with any money or your information could keep you safe
CHALLENGE – Could it be fake or false? It is ok to reject, refuse any requests. Only criminals will try and rush and panic you.
PROTECT – If you think you have just fallen for a scam contact your bank immediately and report to Action Fraud
