Sunny Hunny Yesterday – From Our Own Correspondent

My correspondent informs me that it was an essential journey yesterday that took them to Hunstanton, he stated that he needed ‘fresh air’, ‘exercise’ and to ‘test his eyesight’ – they were not alone but the numbers on a cool sunny day was ‘low’ – they didn’t get out of their car and took their own food and drink.

A few take-aways were open and there was only 5 vehicles in the beach front car park.

Tesco’s Hunstanton car park was half full – Saturday afternoon.

Well Done FYR

Today as advertised starting at 1pm FYR put on a broadcast to commenorate Remembrance Sunday – with all local requests saw a diverse range of music….including one from myself for the 30,000 Merchant Seamen who perished during WWII – my choice was ‘The White Cliffs of Dover’ there then followed at 2:30 brief description of organisations who laid wreaths.
I hope this exercise maybe the beginning of what could be local news on local radio ie Whittlesey & District.
Again well done.
