WTC Report #1 March 22

Almost a sell out – City of Peterborough Concert Band – Conductor Henry Clydesdale, gave a fantastic rendition of the ‘Posthorn Gallop’ – a wonderful evenings entertainment all in aid of charity. Well done and thanks to Whittlesey Indoor Bowls Club.

ps;-The 3 yard Union Flag and 3 yard Red Ensign (Red Duster) are mine on loan – they are used flags made in the UK some 40+ years ago.

Peter Easterbrook and Thomas Cox today outside of the Co-Op fundraising towards joining the World Scout Jamboree 2023 – + – had their Mum the help them, lots more hard work to do I understand – there are more events happening.

Utility Companies busy digging up roads and pathways.
The temporary closure of Queen Street in order that Mr Domino’s can get
a high pressure gas to cook his Pizzas quicker was well advertised to all agencies and Council.
Who turns up for their once a year Tree Cut at the War Memorial – The arboriculturalist,
somehow they managed to just about work around each other.
Queen Street will be blocked off tomorrow for some part of the day.
