Whittlesey RBL Time of Remembrance
I visited the National Aboretum last year.
Today a very small number of public paid their respects to those who fought in the 1982 Falklands conflict.
Thank you to Whittlesey Branch of The Royal British Legion.

Lonliness Awareness Week
There is in our community many people who suffer from Loneliness, they rarely ask for help and it is difficult to identify them, especially if they are afraid of asking for help.
In our area we have several very elderly (not always lonley) who are very independent, I keep in contact with most of them on a regular basis.
Last week one 98 year old WWII veteran mobility scooter broke down, he was helped get it back to his house and I have arranged for a local engineer to come and visit him tomorrow.
5 minutes is worth a lot to some people – don’t be just a good neighbour – be a better neighbour…..
