More Vandalism @ The Manor Field

The people responsible for the latest spat of vandalism don’t realise what will happen if this carries on.
Since the ‘New’ Picnic Benches were replaced in August 2021 – there have been 10 incidents of them being vandalised – including the complete destroying of one by setting it on fire.

In the past week (oh no – its not school holidays – not allowed to say such things)
3 incidents have occured.

The fire damaged bench was replaced with a metal one, by Ex Landlord Mr Bruce Road, who raised the money to sponsor the bench.

The repairs to date have been carried out by The Street Pride Team – they have run out of parts and getting somewhat fed up.
The two benches  damaged this week have been made safe – however no parts – no more allocated funding and at some stage consideration will have to be made to start removing them all together.

If you know the name(s) of those who are responsible – why not name and shame them for the sake of those who would like to enjoy the Manor Field Picnic Benches.

One of the damaged benches – with one seat now removed because of vandalism.
