I am proud and humbled to be part of the Extravaganza Volunteers, who this year raised enough sponsorship/donations and grants to put on a completely ‘FREE’ event to several hundred (maybe a thousand) families on a cold dry evening.
Not everyone’s happy, that within 2 days of being reported to FDC, they were on the case.
Simple – the ground is far too wet to carry out permanent repairs, so in the meantime, the contractors have put woodbark at both the newly damaged area behing the Manor Centre and another area adjacent to the Play area.
As I’ve corresponded with a number of residents, come Spring – we will ask the areas to be properly put nack into good order.
Looks like the Pot-Holes maybe being done as well – (at last)
