Don’t Ignore Your Pevic Floor?
The often-taboo subject of female incontinence is being explored next week as part of World Continence Week. At North West Anglia NHS Foundation Trust, which runs Peterborough City, Hinchingbrooke and Stamford and Rutland Hospitals, we are spotlighting this issue with the help of our specialist physiotherapists and Urogynaecologist teams.
On Tuesday 20 June at 12.30pm we are holding an hour-long session online with our specialist physiotherapy and urogynacological team to talk about treatment and management of incontinence.
Details of how to join the meeting are in our press release here.
We look forward to welcoming you if you can spare the time!

Sell Out – Golden Age Fair Today
A record number of ‘Partners’ and a record number of public turned out for today’s Golden Age Fair – held at The Manor Centre Whittlesey – lots of different providers and groups.
Lots of ‘free-bees’ given away.
Well done to FDC for putting this event on again here in Whittlesey.

If You Don’t Already Know – Toilets
The public toilets behind ‘The George’ are now back in operation, having been fitted with ‘Blast Resistant Doors’ – the cost the us the ratepayer runs into lots of £££££.
Let us hope that the Whittlesey (sorry maybe wrong) Vandals leave them alone, otherwise they maybe out of service again for a very long time.

Update – Meeting Today With NQS
A productive meeting this morning and somewhat better informed.
I will speakat the the full council meeting (WTC) a short presentation on todays
meeting. It will then be contained in my usual ‘Monthly’ Council Report.
The PPG (Patients Participation Group) Chair Ms Alison Bacon and myself are having a meeting with the Practice Manager and a Senior Partner Doctor @ New Queen Street Surgery this morning.
This is in response to the recent complaints from patients on the ‘performance’ of NQS.
I will remind readers that I posted the presemtation that NQS gave to WTC in October last year, I also posted the CQC (Care Quaility Commission) report.
