Update On Litter Bin Concerns & Issues
Following on from my 3 reports of over-flowing bins at the Manor Field and Market Place.
I made representation along with photographs to Mark Mathews Head of Environmental Services Fenland District Council.
Mr. Mathews thanked Cllr Eamonn Dorling and myself for clearing up the litter and rubbish left by the overflow.
He explained that the ‘Team’ were fully manned and that there had been an extraordinary run on the useage.
It appears that the park was very busy, which is good news, but did mean the bins filled more quickly than usual. I’m told that the team had adapted their approach, but clearly not swiftly enough to avoid the bins being full prior to their return.
I have now been given a different contact which is available on FDC’s Website to report
Bin issues, this is monitored 7 days a week.

Anyone can use the above link o report issues with bins.
