What are your plans next Monday?
If you have any concerns that you would like to discuss with us, we will be hosting a police surgery!
📆When? Between 10am and 12pm on Monday, 2 December
📍Where? Whittlesey council chambers in Peel House in Queen Street, Whittlesey
Will we be seeing you there?

Alternatively, you can raise any issues via our community survey.
Dear Roy,
Do you need some inspiration on what to donate to our Christmas gift appeal?
Donations to the appeal can include:
This year’s appeal is running until Saturday, 7 December. Donations will be accepted at Tesco, in Hostmoor Avenue, March, and Wisbech Police Station, in Nene Parade, where the yellow phone outside can be used to contact staff.
When dropping off donations at Tesco, keep an eye out for the collection point with our poster!
Want to know more about the appeal and how to get involved? You can read all about it on our website.
We have continued to see news reports from across England and Wales, sharing accounts of severe weather events and the damage that they have caused in local communities over the past weekend, to homes, businesses, and individuals.
We urge everyone to stay safe during these extreme weather events, and to check on vulnerable neighbours or members of your community when possible. Please listen to updates and weather warnings from your local government services to remain informed of the situation in your local area.
You can check for flood warnings in England using this Government website, and you can check for flood warnings in Wales using this website.
This page from Age UK’s website offers advice on how to support elderly residents during a flood crisis, and this UK Government website offers advice on what to do after you’ve been affected by flooding.

I have responded to an appeal for warm, clean men’s clothing by the Peterborough charity which is supporting newly arrived refugees, who have no or very little suitable clothing for our climate.
The lovely people from Helping Whittlesey have agreed to store the donations at the community pantry at the Falcon Hotel. I would be grateful if you could publicise these facts to your residents.
My plan is to pick up and transport all donations next Sunday 1st December (hoping they will all fit into a Passat!Â
Thanks in anticipation,Â
Kind regards
