| Getting Wisbech better-connected came closer today when the Combined Authority’s transport and infrastructure committee decided to move forward with an Options Assessment Report analysing the costs and benefits of different types of connection.
Then again – I/we could look back a few years to the ‘Great’ Wisbech 2020 Vision which sort of kicked off in 2012. Lots and lots of £££££ spent with very little tangible results. Blurred vision over bold 2020 plan for Wisbech’s future. To some observers it looks very much like throwing even more money at this very ambitious plan/project – the costings now being stratospheric by anyones standards. |
