MOTS This Sunday – Be There I Will….
You may not be aware – the organisers WTC are having concerns that we are struggling to get ‘volunteers‘ to steward the events, should this situation carry on, there is a risk that the events can not carry on.
I and 5 others will be there to help make sure everyone enjoys themselves safely.

Good StreetPride Event….
I was not there with them today, however I’ve been out x 3 during the week on my own.
Photography by Peter Davies – yes I also attended.
Rather a hot day to go litter picking but ten members attended and collected 15 bags of assorted rubbish plus a good bag full of cans for Eamonn to crush. Thanks also goes to Chris, who is not in the photograph but collected 5 bags by himself.
(Thanks to PD)
The next litter pick will be at Eastrea Community Hall at 10am. on the 28th June.
We will meet in the front car park. I hope to see you there.

Thanks Again To Our Fantastic Volunteer Group
Last night saw 12 of us carry out some tidying up and mainte
nance work at
The ‘Platinum Wood’ @ Yarwell Headlands.
A WTC initiative in memory of our late Queen, an idea that was mine to leave a legacy for the future.
Would you like to help?
Have a look, peace and quiet, walk your dog, take your children.

The latest ‘donated’ Bench, reburbished and installed by Cllr Eamonn Dorling.

MP Steve Barclay Weighs In On The KDX Fiasco
What can now be only described as a complete ‘Fiasco‘ by Cambridgeshire County Council and to an extent Jones Bros….No one is being held to account for the mis-management and mis-communication coming from Cambs CC.
I will be writing to the Chief Executive over the weekend.
Thanks for MP Barclay putting some weight….

Golden Age Partners Event
I attended the Golden Age Partners Event yesterday in my role of being the Chairman of Whittlesey & District Neighbourhood Watch Group for the passed 15 years, along with around 40 other stakeholders.
Supported and sponsored by FDC, normally 4 events a year.
Lots of free advice and sometimes other ‘freebies’ come along to the Whittlesey event next Friday from 10am at the Manor Leisure Centre.

Delay On re-Opening Of Whittlesey Library
What should have been a re-opening by end of July, I now understand it maybe a couple weeks later, reasons I don’t know. Once I get a date I’ll post it up.

Help Please ID These People…..
Need DashCam pictures and registration of what appears to be happening more than once.
Hello Roy, Sorry to bother you about this, I have tried to email, the police but cannot get through.
If you could pass this to those concerned, it might prevent it happening again to someone else, while riding my motorbike towards Whittlesey, along Northbank Road. I felt a sharp pain in my rib cage, I managed to control my motorcycle, and discovered that I had been hit by an egg thrown from a car coming towards me, if it had hit my visor I probably would not have been sending you this email – Thank You.
