North Bank Road alongside the River Nene,
Eeast of Peterborough and west of Dog-in-a-Doublet Sluice
Last time in force:
The River Nene has being falling steadily over the weekend and today Monday 15th February. North Bank Road will be reopened once the Highways Authority have been able to inspect the road surface and carry out any necessary works to ensure the road is passable. There may be standing water in low lying areas and fields for several days.

No Holidays – So Where Did We Go #5
This weeks nostalgic trip took place the first time in 1993 and some subsequent returns to Grand Canyon on several occasions.
A story about how ‘I’ locked us out of the car with the keys in the ignition and the motor running…(another time) rescued by a local Navajo Indian – so helpful.
What I consider to be one of the wonders of the world….below Grand Canyon.

Another Drug Bust – Plenty To Go…
| Warrant Executed – March This morning officers from the March Neighbourhood Policing Team were joined by Bonnie ( Police Drugs Dog) and her handler in order to assist with a Section 23 Misuse Of Drugs Act warrant at an address in March. Bonnie quickly found both Class A and Class B drugs along with cash believed to be linked with drug dealing. These items were subsequently seized. Our investigation is continuing. #FenlandNPT |

Fortunate to have celebrated in Malaysia, Thailand and Vietnam over the past 40+ years.
Alas not going anywhere this year… So a traditional Chinese ‘Steamboat’ for us tonight.
