Cllr Roy Gerstner is proud to have provided these Facts & Figures for over 15 years. -
The map below is the latest from UK Police, the more recent Fenland/Whittlesey Stats for November were pretty near the same as October….the figures speak for themselves – and this is ‘reported crime’ – a lot of incidents/crime goes ‘unreported’
Martin informs me that he will be making regular ‘Podcasts’ weekly on Mondays.
Well – I doubt whether Martin actually went away from politics, he is back now on a new ‘Podcast Platform’ (details below) –
I have listened to the two episodes and although – #1 is a bit slow going it picks up in #2

Catalytic converter thefts – 13,000 in 2019
Catalytic converters are often targeted by thieves for the precious metals found inside them.
Using high-powered tools they can jack-up a car and cut converters out within a matter of minutes.
It was cold at the beginning of the week – Lucky to have a room with this view…!!!
I say Coates as just received report that Catalytic Converter has been stolen from South Green Coates, the victim had not moved their vehicle for a few days, the chances are that the job was well ‘cased’ beforehand. – whilst CCTV may not help as ‘Face-Coverings’ are the norm now. A simple driveway alarm linked to a mobile in inexpensive, security lights put off the low life and of course everyones favourite get a dog….
Watch out there a plenty of thieves about this time of year.
Although not a great deal of updates from Police HQ – Policing is for-ever changing and evolving due to crime. The Chief Constable thanked all NHW Groups for their support especially during the pandemic.
So nice to see the Christmas Floats this year…Thank you to both The Whittlesey Lions and Rotary for putting a bit of chear to our lives.
