Elections in Whittlesey/Fenland & Cambridgeshire will take place on May 06th.
As far as Whittlesey Town Council is concerned, (2) wards are up for election.
(1) Stonald Ward and (2) Latersey Ward.
There will be (1) Fenland District Council ward to contest that being Latersey Ward.
Both (Whittlesey) Cambridgeshire County Council Wards (1) North) & (2) South up for election. The closing dates for candidates is the 08th April.

I will be placing election information on this web-blog for information – I invite all candidates to send me their election leaflets and I will post here.

FYI – The Conservative Party Candidate for Police & Crime Commissioner – Darryl Preston
will be available at Whittlesey Buttercross this Friday @10:00am – If you have questions it is your opportunity to meet (at a social distance of course).
Present Cambs CC and candidate for the CCC elections David Connor will also be there.

10+ years ago my wife Connie was given a dead and limp little plant – being somewhat ‘green fingered’ she had nurtured it all this time, almost like ‘The Ugly Duckling’ it has developed into a monster ‘Lilly’ and this year has sprouted lots of flowers…..

Gas works I am told have been completed and safety checks in progress.
Anglian Water .. Understand the reinstatement crew should be following-up tomorrow back filling feed pipe holes and making good residents driveways/pathways etc.
Anglia Water barrier surrounding a large hole remains at West Delph/Yarwell Headlands ‘T’ junction – no indication when a crew will return to make good.
