What Sort of An ‘Ass’ Is This Person

A number of occasions recently some kind ‘Ass’ has let their Horse/Pony/Donkey deposit its #2 in various public locations around town, including on/besides the War Memorial.
There may not be a legal obligation for them to clear their #2  but there is certainly a moral and community obligation. Why not do a Steptoe and carry a small bucket and spade and clear up afterwards.
Each time this happens we have to get FDC Street Cleaner out on Public Health grounds, this costs us the Rate Payer.
So I’ll ask again do you know this ‘Ass’ let me know.

Help By Taking Part In Survey

Along with our Cyberhood Watch partner, Avast, we have launched a new survey to understand whether the Covid-19 pandemic has changed our attitudes towards certain aspects of cybersecurity and privacy since the first lockdown in March 2020.

The findings from the survey will be used to inform ongoing Cyberhood Watch awareness initiatives for the Neighbourhood Watch community and draw attention to important cybersecurity and privacy topics though the media to help UK citizens improve their knowledge of, and protection from, cyberthreats.

The survey of 16 questions will take you less than 5 minutes to complete and all answers are anonymous. It is open from today and will close on Sunday 27th June 2021. If you’d like to take part, please follow the link below:

You Would Not Believe It – Some Are Still Falling Victim

This scam has been around a very long time, occasionally one gets through the firewall, but it only takes one person to fall for it and the ‘Trader’ has made their money.
It is also important to be aware that by responding in any way – telling them to clear off –
Is not a good idea, it tells them that your e-mail account is active and again that will be sold on.

Dear Friend,
My name is Mr. Ibrahim Abdoul. If the content of this message is contrary to your moral ethics, please accept my apology. But, please treat with absolute secrecy. I am working with one of the prime banks in Burkina Faso. Here in this bank existed a dormant account for many years, which belong to one of our late foreign customer. The amount in this account stands at $13,300,000.00 (Thirteen Million Three Hundred Thousand US Dollars).

I was very fortunate to come across the deceased customer’s security file during documentation of old and abandoned customer’s files for an official documentation and audit of the year 2020.
I want a foreign account where the bank will transfer this fund. I know you would be surprised to read this message, especially from someone relatively unknown to you. But, do not worry yourself so much. This is a genuine, risk free and legal business transaction. All details shall be sent to you once I hear from you.

If you are really sure of your sincerity, trustworthiness, accountability and confidentiality over this transaction, reply back to me urgently. cantact me on (Removed).

Best regards,
Mr. Ibrahim Abdoul

It’s Weekend – Some Good News, Some Not So Good News

It has been a busy week, with the more than usual amount of misinformation being put about…..NO misinformation here….

Firstly, the large amounts of ‘Grass’ and other ‘Debris’ coming down the Bower, many blamed Fenland District Council – Contractors, after a lot of investigation, it was found to have come from the Stanground area, where the Mid-Level Commissioners were cutting the weeds from the bottom and bank sides.
This is the ‘usual’ way the it is done every year.
They open up the sluice to try and get a bit more flow on the Bower to shift downstream.
FDC/WTC NOT Guilty.

Next, twice this week I’ve reported the over-flowing Bins on the Ramsey Road Layby…
Each time FDC Street Cleaner has been there within an hour.
Some sort of Partying going by the amount of Rubbish – some of which does’nt make the Bin(s).
Today again, some Rif-Raff can not make the effort to put their spoils in the Bin.

So finally, yesterday on my travel rounds, here is a HAPPY Couple having some photo’s taken in St Mary’s Churchyard….
