Having sat on this committee for over 10 years now, I’ve heard a repeat of issues and promises many times.
We live in hope that both the Prime Minister and our own Police & Crime Commissioner have stated we will get more and better Neighbourhood Policing.
A named officer to contact (been there several times before) but at least they appear to be very vocal about the subject.

After many months of waiting here is information received today from Cllr Dee Laws.

Cambridgeshire County Council Highways submitted an application for a Temporary Traffic Order Application Form (TTRO).

Road Closure between Monday 16^th August – Tursday 19^th August 2021

Description of Works: Carry out embankment repairs along the B1040 south of the North Bank junction with the B1040.

Location of Works:      East verge, just south of the North Bank junction.

Closure Times:             19:00hrs to 06:00hrs

Working Hours:           19:00hrs to 06:00hrs

Diversion Routes:        A605, A141, A47 and vice versa – these can be found on Roadworks.org

As I was a Communications & Electronics Engineer in the Merchant Navy for some 28 years, – Did I fire a gun?
Merchant Ships generally only carry one gun which is locked in the Captains Safe.
During the various support roles I carried out in conflict area’s, the ships I sailed on carried several small arms.

Practice only, never fired or shot at anyone. Pirates (yes) were the biggest concerns.
