British Telecom are offering free online training which will help us all become more alert to scams, and it only takes 10 minutes to complete.
Maybe you can help by encouraging others to complete the training, like children or relatives.
If you’re involved in a community group or charity that supports local people, simply share the link to this 10-min training, you’ll be helping them learn the basics behind scams and build confidence as they run through some practical activities to spot scams in action.
If you work for a Local Authority, please consider sharing the link on social media

Issues of Cambs Highways in the planning process.
How is it then when the upcoming Johnsons Aggregates plans to import and process 250,000 tonnes of Bottom End Ash and 10,000 of Construction And Waste Materials resulting in some 25,000 HGV movements per year – Cambs CC/Highways have no issues or concerns – seems a bit inconsistent to me.
Activity is progressing well on the site, with the team installing the safety barrier between the eastern roundabout and the railway bridge.

The tie-in works are going as planned with the next traffic management phase starting on Monday 31st January. This will see two way lights set up at the location of the current entrance of the site.
These lights will operate ‘off-peak’ 09:30am – 3:30pm Monday to Friday – They are expected to be in place for 3 weeks, however we will be looking to remove the traffic lights and work behind barriers as soon as practically possible.
What many do not know, is that the area around the ‘Manor Picnic Benches’ is regularly ‘trashed’ – cans, bottles, plastic, food, vomit to name some, even on cold weekend nights.
Our Street Cleaners have to face this regularly without complaining.
What to do – if I said I’d get strung up for even thinking of such things….
So some more hopefully only minor graffiti – not a ‘Banksy between them’ – now that would be nice…whoops..
Peterborough featured on national TV yesterday for having one of the highest infection and lowest vaccination rates in the country.
What a fantastic start to the project – already sponsorship for 8 indigenous trees after only 1 day of the campaign – my thanks to those who have kick started this wondeful initiative.
Come on Whittlesey/Coates/Eastrea/Pondersbridge/Turves and Kings Delph.
Help us celebrate by joining in the Queens Green Canopy 2022 by sponsoring ‘a tree’
