Today in Chatteris I joined around 30 other groups and volunteer organisations for a Fenland Golden Age Partners meeting. 20 years ago a FDC Councillor Mat Cotterell MBE
had a vision to help the more ‘Aged’ in Fenland – Whittlesey Councillor Ken Mayor was part of the orginal committee.
Since 2003 there have been more than 7,000 people attend the Golden Age Fairs.
Over £1 million in benifits have been identified to those who have attended.
The final date for the Whittlesey event has not yet been confirmed.

You are all warmly invited to come along to our warm and cosy building for a top-class movie screening plus refreshments served during an interval. No charges made for admission, however we do have operating expenses, not least for heating and lighting and the required video licence, so we request that you pay what you can afford please.
Screenings fortnightly through the winter months.

Sue Ryder Grief Kind Spaces will be in-person drop-in sessions held in the local community

 The informal sessions will provide a safe, welcoming and supportive place for people who have been bereaved to share their experiences of grief, helping attendees to feel heard and less alone.
