Another Successful Family Day – Well Almost?

What more could we want, another virtually free day out, OK if you like Buses and free trips to Thorney, Turves and Ramsey.

I say ‘almost’ – whilst Litterpicking the Market Square, I was nearby the Ice Cream Van.
A Dad went and ordered 4 x medium 99’s cost £16:00 – I’ve heard of the cost of living going up but this took some understanding….needless to say I did not stop me and buy one.

Modern Slavery In Our Communities

Figures released this week show there were a record number of calls to the Modern Slavery Helpline in the last year.

The helpline, which is run by the charity Unseen, received calls about more than 6,500 potential victims of slavery in the UK.

During the same period, we rescued 130 people from modern slavery right here in Cambridgeshire.

Sadly, modern slavery is a reality and could be happening in your community.

Hand car washes, nail bars and takeaways are all industries where modern slavery cases have previously been discovered. Please help us by knowing the signs to look out for and reporting any concerns.

You can find more information on our website: https://bit.ly/3WfgGp7

Thank you for your support.
