I’ve Been Terminated & Anglia Water News Update
The nations Water Companies are in the news again and not for good reasons.
When Anglian Water came to Fenland Council last year – I forced them to apologise for the amount and number of breaches in their dumping of waste into our waterways and sea.
(Overview & Scrutiny Committee).
However without anyone having the courtesy to contact me or inform me, my position(s) has been ‘Terminated’ on the O&S plus Planning.
I found out only by reading the paperwork.
I sincerely hope that some on the O&S who have yet after several meetings find ‘a question’ to ask those before them?

Air Quality Sensor/Monitor
The Air Quality Senor Monitor placed in Whittlesey (Hallcroft Road) which was removed for its annual cailibration, will be returned sometime next week.
You can still view the historical information on a range of gas and pollutants.

I am on the Case (Again)
The Bower Towpath is becoming difficult to navigate once more, the ownership is very complicated, so we (Councillors) ask FDC if their contractor will do it, which when asked normally come along and keep most of it clear.
I understand from a conversation I had today, that it will addressed very shortly.
There was an issue with an overhanging tree branch which was becoming dangerous, this was reported and within a week had also been addressed.
