Still Don’t Get It – Am I Missing Something….
Regularly, ‘Keyboard Warriors’ post problems and issues on social media….
They have the time – resource to spend hours trolling around but for some unknown reason cannot or do not know how to report simple things to the proper authorities.
It does annoy me to say the least – yes the below came to my attention earlier today and I reported it to FDC Enviro team immediately, and have had a reply….
All very well but even we Councillors only have so much time……and not on social media.
Have a look at the FDC report website portal below.

Remember Have YOUR Say On Whittlesea Railway Station
Residents, businesses, and rail users are invited to have their say on the future regeneration of Whittlesea Railway Station.
In October, Fenland District Council launched a survey on how people use the station to help unlock funding for station improvements. Now it would like people’s views on the options for improvement, which include a new pedestrian bridge and platform extensions, and improved public areas and car park.
The options consultation will run from Monday 5th January, to Sunday 01st February 2026, and includes an online survey and a series of in-person and online events. There will be a number of ways to get involved in the options consultation:
· Online survey: available at fenland.gov.uk/WhittleseaConsultation. Printed copies of the survey are available upon request. Email transportandaccess@fenland.gov.uk or call 01354 622445.
· In-person drop-in events: where people can view the options, ask questions and share feedback.
Online information session: for those who prefer to take part from home.
The following events are taking place:
• Friday 9 January, 8am to 12noon, at Whittlesey Market Place, Market Street, PE7 1AF
• Wednesday 14 January, 6am to 10am, at Whittlesea Railway Station, PE7 1UL

Wisbech-Medworth Incinerator News
We (Whittlesey/Villages) may not be directly affected by thye Mega-Incinerator now being constructed on the outskirts of Wisbech, BUT we maybe indirectly affected by traffic and whatever waste being producted at the plant, this is why it is important that ‘we’ have representatives going to their meetings.
I do try and attend, however on this occasion I am unable….and no other Whittlesey Councillor has attended or shown much interest. However Saxongate will probably attend.
