Armistice Day – Whittlesey 2024
What is the difference between Remembrance Day and Armistice Day?
In the UK, Remembrance Day is held every year on the second Sunday of November.
Remembrance Day grew from, and is also closely linked to, Armistice Day. Armistice Day is November 11. It marks the signing of the First World War-ending Armistice on November 11 1918

Sorry To Post Sad News About Sad People Today – Armistice Day
Some very sad person(s) have once again vandalised a public toilet here in Whittlesey.
This has happened several times before over many years.
The cost to the rate payer has been expensive not to say the (no pun intended) the inconvienience of toilets being closed.
No update as yet….

Good Public Engagement @ Aldi Yesterday
Only 4 Whittlesey Councillors supported the public engagement event for the future plans of The Relief Road, Cllrs Boden, Laws, Sennitt-Clough and myself braved the somewhat cool weather. We saw a good number of people and like the Peel House event asked some good questions.
One move event will be held online…contact details on poster below….
