Someone Asked…..

Why St Mary’s Church clock has stopped working…..simple it is broken.

I caught up with Emily our resident priest (until next year) – and she informs me,
that the clock has not been working for while, as yet it has not been looked at by a
Horologist and no indication of costs involved.

She said it would be looked into.

Sorry To Post Sad News About Sad People Today – Armistice Day

Some very sad person(s) have once again vandalised a public toilet here in Whittlesey.

This has happened several times before over many years.

The cost to the rate payer has been expensive not to say the (no pun intended) the inconvienience of toilets being closed.

No update as yet….

Good Public Engagement @ Aldi Yesterday

Only 4 Whittlesey Councillors supported the public engagement event for the future plans of The Relief Road, Cllrs Boden, Laws, Sennitt-Clough and myself braved the somewhat cool weather. We saw a good number of people and like the Peel House event asked some good questions.

One move event will be held online…contact details on poster below….

March Centre Almost Complete

March transformation marks new chapter for historic market town.

(RG Note – Not everyone was happy that this project went ahead – that said ‘we’ had exactly the same when WTC/FDC moved the Bus Stop at the Buttercross to Grosvenor Road)
