Learn About Digital Switchover….NHW Open To All

Digital Switchover Drop-in at #WhittleseyLibrary
Tuesday March 4th 2025

9:00 AM – 1:00 PM

Neighbourhood Watch Network are hosting a drop-in to inform you about the digital voice switchover that will be happening over the next couple of years. This event is intended for residents that have a BT landline and will give essential knowledge on why this is happening, what will happen and how.

Benwick Road Works Update…

The resurfacing of Benwick Road is troublesome to say the least!
hese are my pictures from last Friday. The first picture is the completed section, white-lined and the newly formed pothole over the Christmas period. Since then, that section has been dug up again. The rest of the road from the industrial estate to the bungalow, was re-laid to a good standard. The photos show the digging-up of the first section for the second time and the results of the historical water leaks and efforts to rectify the situation.

Police Surgery – Tomorrow Monday 03rd March

These events give you the opportunity to meet your local neighbourhood officers and discuss any concerns you may have, such as drug dealing, anti-social behaviour, or speeding.

If you have something you would like to raise, you can meet us between 10am and 12pm at Peel House in Queen Street, Whittlesey, on Monday 03rd Monday.

Car Seized For No Insurance During Rural Patrols

It was a busy week for our officers who have been patrolling the rural areas of the county!


While in Doddington, we seized a car which showed as uninsured on our systems.

Over the week, you may have seen us in areas such as:

🚜Abbots Ripton

🚜Little Thetford

🚜Pondersbridge

🚜Gorefield

We also took the time to stop and talk to those we saw, and obviously couldn’t resist stopping for these furry friends!

Neighbourhood Police Update

Following recent incidents involving a large group of youths in Wisbech town centre, the local neighbourhood team have been working hard to tackle the issues.

The problems include:
👮‍♂️Anti-social riding of bikes and scooters
👮‍♂️Abuse towards shop staff
👮‍♂️Throwing items
👮‍♂️Theft
We understand this behaviour can be intimidating, and we are taking action against those identified to be causing the issues, including engaging with the individuals and their parents, and working with partner agencies when needed.

WTC Councillor Surgery This Saturday

Got something on your mind to tell your councillors, then you have the opportunity to come along to the monthly WTC Council Surgery.
No appointment necessary -First come basis.

Councillors Surgeries Saturday 1st March 2025 between 09:30am-10:30am at Peel House, Queen Street, Whittlesey.
