Yesterday morning, our PCSOs were at Whittlesey Library to talk to you about your concerns. Thank you to all those who attended and took the time to come and see us.
During the meeting, various concerns were raised, such as:
- E-scooters
- Anti-social driving
- Drink driving
- Illegal and obstructive parking
- Cars along High Causeway
We were able to provide advice about these issues and talk about the work the team have been doing recently.
Whilst in the area, two tickets were issued to cars parked in an illegal and obstructive manner, and a few drivers were spoken to about their parking.
From today (1 July), the team’s new priorities are:
- Addressing persistent vehicle-related anti-social behaviour (ASB) and criminality in and around March, Whittlesey, and Chatteris town centres
- Disrupting drug activity and safeguarding vulnerable individuals
- To reduce ASB within March town centre, specifically associated with homelessness, rough sleeping, drug and alcohol misuse, and other low-level offending
If you wish to discuss any of these issues, or have something else you wish to report, then our next community meeting in Whittlesey is at Whittlesey Library, from 2pm until 3pm, on Friday, 17 July.
If you cannot wait until then, you can contact your local neighbourhood team via
