So far this month we have also visited:
- Burrowmoor primary school – words of advice were given to numerous drivers
- Thomas Eaton primary academy – words of advice were given to numerous drivers
- Park Lane primary school – one ticket issued and words of advice given to numerous drivers
- Glebelands primary school – words of advice were given to numerous drivers
We would like to remind you that it is illegal to park on double yellow lines and zig zag markings. Furthermore, there are signs around some of the schools stating that you should not park there during specific times.
We understand that finding parking in the areas around the school can be frustrating, but it is all done to keep everyone safe, especially the children.
Our patrols will continue, issuing tickets to any vehicles found to be parked dangerously.

RG Note : I agree with some other Councillors comments that it is time the Police Stopped giving words of advice and issue more tickets to those who park ‘illegally’.
