Today’s good deed was to do shopping for two of our elderly neighbours, Jon B who is 98 his wife 95 and Colin G who is 89. Thinking Tesco Ramsey would be easiest as they are fussing clients! – At 09:30 there was a que of around 20 waiting in the correct way and the Police presence helped, but they cleared off after 5 minutes.
Once inside the store was a different situation, the isles are well marked and there is a one way system – Sorry Ramsey people can not comprehend this simple task, they were going the wrong way, herding too close together and some picking up fresh fruit & veg and then putting it back again…..I dare say it is not unique to Ramsey.
Anyway job done, that’s us in isolation now until next week’s good deed.
Our NHW volunteers will be delivering precriptions tomorrow.
