Plans Advancing For This Years’ Extravaganza – Whittlesey

I am proud to have supported this group for a number of years, last night’s meeting & AGM (Zoom) saw the core committee re-elected with Lynn Palmer as Chair for another term.
Two other WTC Councillors also have supported the group for a number of years,
Cllr David Mason and Cllr Julie Windle. Whittlesey Town Council have also financially supported the event over many years.

It is hoped that this years event will go ahead on 11th December from 15:30 to 18:30.

Video Showing Lorry Spaying Gravel On Queen Street Today.

The lorry should not have been in the area, there is a 7.5 ton weight limit (except for deliveries), the driver appears to be unaware of the issue, I understand these deposits carried on some distance along the A605 Eastrea Road.

We’re H..A..P..P..Y – Early Days Suntan & Timmy T…

For over 45 years our (2) Pet Tortoises hibernate during the winter. Around this time of the year, it is time to check they are OK, so Tuesday afternoon, with some nice warming sunshine, the (2) boxes were take from the garage and placed outside.
An hour or so later, on opening the boxes, the Male (Timmy) was sitting on top waiting to come out. The Femail (Suntan) has more sense and would rather carry on sleeping.
But Tortoises must not be left to over hiberate.
Now snug inside their run within the utility room with Infra-Red heating to get them going… hopefully for another year.
