One Tree Problem Sorted -!

Last week a very large branch fell off a tree in the Manor Field, this was reported to me by a concerned member of the public, I went had a look myself and reported to FDC, today (Saturday) – Tree Surgeons dealt with the offending tree….cost doesn’t come into the equation when peoples safety is concerned.

Everyone’s Entitled To Their Opinion – Well Nearly Everyone!

An article sent to me from Cambridgeshire News

Someone (nameless as usual) is having a real good moan about our town of Whittlesey.
‘Brutal Review Slams Cambs Town as ‘dull lifeless damp cloth of a settlement’
A review posted on ILiveHere has not been kind to the Fenland town of Whittlesey

Whittlesey is just a town you drive through to get to somewhere else. Thankfully I jumped ship many years ago and have never returned. Do I miss it? Like a hole in the head.”
I’m not sure that Whittlesey misses this reviewer much either.
It’s not tough to disagree with the overwhelming and one-sided negativity provided by this review.
Whittlesey is a historic town and home to over 16,000 people.

You can make your own mind up and read the complete story Click Here

I understand from the article that The Moaner’ no longer lives here – well reading their review, I doubt very much if they contributed anything whilst here – so fare well and don’t bother to come back….

Objection Letter Ref HGV’s Permit Ramsey Road.

It would appear that there are a few local residents that have no issues with more HGV’s on Ramsey Road/Church Street, however the majority I have spoken too beg to differ.
My objection is on behalf of those concerned residents, if you wish to object this has to be before the 25th August 2021
