During your local Neighbourhood Policing Team’s ongoing public engagements we have discovered that there many of you who have to endure antisocial behaviour, but don’t feel empowered to report it. Why? 

😕 “Because what’s the point”

😕 “There’s not enough police”

😕 “Police don’t do anything anyway”

😕 “We never see police around here”

If we don’t know it’s happening we cannot help, we cannot be in the right place at the right time we cannot bring those who wrong your community to account. 👮‍♀️

Age UK has informed me of a suspicious phone call made to one of their elderly residents within Cambridgeshire.
The caller stated they represented a company called ‘Vision Home’ that provided loft insulation services.

The caller claimed to work on behalf of Age UK.

The call appears to  have been made from the Bournemouth area, but as we all know, the caller ID displayed is not always accurate.

Age UK have confirmed that they have no connection with a company called Vision Home.
I have checked Companies House on gov.uk, and although there are many similar sounding companies, there are none that appear to be from the Bournemouth area.

On balance, this appears to a scam or cold call so should you hear of similar calls across Cambridgeshire then please contact 101 and report.
I have searched this number against the website www.who-called.co.uk and you will see details below and clearly a number not to engage with.

As well as the piling works, which we shared an update on this week, Jones Bros is progressing well with various elements on site including the drainage and kerbing works to the west of the underpass (pictured right).

In addition, the site team have completed the kerbing works from the eastern tie-in roundabout (pictured left) up to the railway bridge.
