NQS PPG Meeting This Afternoon – Slowly Getting Better!
The Patients Participation Group @ NQS met this afternoon, some 12 members along with Practice Manager Paul Crosby and Doctor Rebecca Garratt in attendance.

We asked for the latest statistical information from Paul Crosby.
There are now nearly 20,000 patients registered at NQS and Stanground.
February – there were some 8,500 appointments – this includes, Nurses, Doctors and the Digital Doctrin.
Of the above – there were some 4,000 face-to-face appointments – again across the board,
I asked specifically the number of Doctors Face-to-Face – the number was 1319 per month
which equates to 66 per day which I was pleasantly surprise to hear.
I also asked whether we could be given these stats every month.

Thank You – Platinum Wood
31 individuals/groups and businesses have now committed in sponsoring towards ‘The Platinum Wood’ project supported by Whittlesey Town Council.
We now have 46 Trees promised and I/we are looking for another 24 to make the 70 we are planning to plant.
This small wood will be a lasting legacy for many years in the future.
It will help to offset CO2 and other nasty pollutants that Trees can help with.
If you, your group or your business would like to help us reach the target please get in contact with myself – details on the top bar.

No Malware Detected On This Website
A couple of people contacted me this week stating that when they accessed this website, it informed them that it was infected with ‘Malware’ –
Malware is intrusive software that is designed to damage and destroy computers and computer systems. Malware is a contraction for “malicious software.” Examples of common malware includes viruses, worms, Trojan viruses, spyware, adware, and ransomware.
I am extremely sensitive to any form of virus – I receive bogus mail like many.
This website is hosted on two different servers not connected to my system of computers.
All my devices run a paid for professional anti-virus/trojan/anti-spam continuous scanning software and a paid for professional Anti-Malware software.
If you have any concerns you are invited to contact me….

Burghley House to mark the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee.
Burghley House leads the way again as with the Diamond Jubilee.
The 70-acre forest will be planted in the grounds of the Elizabethan mansion near Stamford.
Dr Darren Moorcroft, chief executive of the Woodland Trust, said he was “thrilled” Burghley had been chosen to “spearhead the celebration”.
The charity hopes to establish up to 70 Platinum Jubilee woods as part of its Queen’s Green Canopy initiative.
