I have spoken with the Manager at the Manor, who informs me that both pumps failed last Wednesday, today one pump has been repaired and parts for the other pump are being sourced. There is also some electrical work to be carried out tomorrow – they are hopeful that business will be back by Thursday…..Hopefully.

Within minutes of my posting of the £8.4 Million March regeneration scheme – someone asked ‘What has Whittlesey got then…?
Well – sorry this person seems to have been in hibernation.
To start with £32+ million for a bridge crossing at Kings Dyke, which would probably not come about has it not been for Mayor Palmer at Cambs & P’boro Combined Authority.

The £1 million for each of the Market Towns for their own projects, in Whittlesey case –
The planned Heritage Centre, a new/revived Whittlesey Walk and the remainder to support local businesses.

Not funded by the CPCA – But FDC – we have had 2 new beautiful/practical Recycled Dustbins put in town recently…. I wonder if this person has even noticed them yet!

Althought ‘infection’ rates appear to be falling – the overall rate per 100k remains high.
