Update KD-X
Traffic has been using the western roundabout temporarily (pictured right) as part of our works, and we would like to thank commuters for their patience and care while navigating the new layout.
The current phase of works that requires traffic management has been completed one week early, which means traffic lights will not be required now until May.
Elsewhere on site, earthworks are ongoing between the underpass and the railway bridge, and as the embankment is raised, so are the wing walls for the underpass (pictured left).
A wing wall is part of the structure of the underpass, which provides support and protects the embankment.

Thank You – Thank You !!!!!
For more than 20 years I have been highlighting the dangerous corner to pedestrians,
prams and mobility scooters at the corner of Church Street.
I asked for one of those ‘Bells’ to be place there. I have witnessed on many occasions large 40 tonne lorries, trying to negotiate the entrance, most do, but some do not.
A number of times the Street Pride/Rose Garden wall has been damaged.
Yesterday a ‘Bollard’ has ‘appeared’ – who instigated this I do not know, for how long it lasts I do not know, but at least a step in the right direction – Thank You….
