All week this week, we’ve been taking part in Operation Calibre – a national campaign to tackle robbery across the country.
Here in Cambridgeshire we’ve been intensifying our efforts across hotspot areas to target habitual offenders and take them off the streets, as well as offering robbery prevention and safety advice.

Update on Plans For New Reservoir Near Chatteris
Yesterday some 20+ Fenland Councillors (including myself) attended a virual presentation by Anglian Water on their plans to build a ‘new’ reservoir near Chatteris.
The plans are in the early stages, it will be a gigantic infrastructure and building program.
Several questions about land purchasing, roads, HGV’s and Carbon offsets.
I’ve attached the sides, if all goes to their plans the reservoir will be completed by 2036 – a long way off yet.
