I attended the WTC Finance & Policy meeting last night as a member of the public.
I submitted questions in relation to item 8 on the agenda – Dust Deposition Analysis.
Basically Cllr Boden is proposing that Whittlesey Town Council provide and pay for a monitoring device to measure ‘Dust’ in/around Snoots Road – Saxon area, where there have been significant complaints over many years.
Disclaimer – Whatever measurements reading are obtained it will not establish ‘where this/any dust emulates from.
During the debate, it was established that the first years costings would be in the region of
£5,000 and from then on around £3,000.
No decision as yet on the make/type of instrument was established and the F&P committee decided to investigate further, before bringing the item back.
