It was announced tonight at Whittlesey Town Council that :-
Saeed Arman – Whittlesey Lattersey Ward, has resigned as a councillor.
Mr. Arman lives in Peterborough and was elected as a conservative councillor.
He has attended no meetings for the past 6 months, and would have triggered a non compliance of the rules in any-case.
There may be a by-election called for the Lattersey Ward Whittlesey.

Lattersey is a relatively small ward within the Whittlesey area.
Mr. Arman, never had to test an election, as in 2023 – the ward was ‘uncontested’
2 candidates stood for the 2 vacant seats and no other candidates came forward.
So we will wait an see ‘if’ a by-election is called.
