After many many months of ‘planning, consultations, and amendments’ – today was the crucial decision making at Fenland District Council to ‘Approve’ the plans put in front of the Planning Committee.
Cllr & Mayor of Whittlesey Alex Miscandlon, gave an excellent short talk on behalf of Whittlesey Town Council of the positive benefits the project will bring to the area around Whittlesey.
I too in the debate highlighted the ‘once in a lifetime’ opportunity for this project to move forward.
I proposed the application, and it was a unanimous decision by the Planning Committee to ‘Approve’ the application.
