Help Us Prevent ATM Thefts In Your Area

Over the past week, there have been a number of ATM thefts reported across the county. We are actively investigating these incidents and working to prevent further offences.

We are asking for your support in helping us identify suspicious activity and reduce opportunities for offenders.

You can help by:

  • Ensuring your vehicle has a working tracker installed, particularly if you own a high-performance car or a ‘heavy’ vehicle such as a transit or flatbed
  • Considering installing CCTV or a video doorbell to capture suspicious activity
  • Reporting anyone acting suspiciously, such as individuals scoping properties or interfering with number plates
  • Letting us know if you see anyone paying unusual attention to ATM machines, including taking photographs or placing ‘out of order’ signs
  • Being vigilant during the night and reporting anything that doesn’t feel quite right, especially involving high-performance cars, ‘heavy vehicles’ or plant equipment
  • Reporting unfamiliar vehicles left parked in your area for a prolonged period

If you see something suspicious, please report it via 101 or our online reporting tools.
In an emergency, always call 999.

Your information is vital in helping us protect local communities and prevent crime.

Thank you for your continued support.
