County Council Sets Aside £59m For Road Repairs and Fenland Is Getting Its Share

Funding for Highways carried out by Cambs County Council, primarily is funded by Governments, so funding by the current government has been in place less than a year –
Who was in government before !

Over £59million is due to be spent on Cambridgeshire’s roads, pathways, bridges and rights of way this year including nearly £9million in Fenland.

Cambridgeshire County Council has set out how it plans to spend this money, including a list of roads that have been prioritised for major repairs in 2025/26.

£700,000 – Coates, Coates Road, carriageway resurfacing from The Fold to Minuet Gardens.

Yes wouldn’t we all like to see much more money being spent on roads and pathways, as said Government and County Council are the ones to lobby.
