Today the Planning Committee @ Cambridgeshire County Council will be considering the latest application for Saxon works.
The below information has been sent by The Saxongate Residents Group – which I thank them for their work and keeping residents informed.
The Southern Buttress stabilisation works (CCC/24/078/FUL) planning meeting is due today 05th March at 10am.
It will be possible to watch that by video link.
It will be held at Cambridgeshire County Council New Shire Hall Alconbury. Saxongate have sent in detailed comments.
The works are due to take seven years so the correct level of protection for local residents is very important.
Whittlesey Town Council have recommended refusal pending more information (copy below)
We understand that non-conforming waste has been found in the Southern Buttress but don’t know if that will be part of the planning considerations.
We have attached the meeting invite letter and below is the video link.
The public can arrive on the day to watch the meeting in person.
