More Good News – More Coming .

Further to my last post,

Grants amounting to over £63,000 have been obtain through Fenland CSP to provide (part of which will include) 48 Young People to engage with Mentoring provision.

  • 12 Young People to engage in Sports Intervention provision.
  • 20 Young People to engage with Arts Intervention provision.
  • 120 young people to engage with inactive workshops to increase awareness of risks and the consequence of serious youth violence and hate crime.
  • 20 Young People to engage in Youth Voice Focus Groups and contribute towards establishing effective communication and messaging campaigns which increase awareness of the risks and consequence of serious youth violence, whilst promoting local provision.
  • 8 Youth Workers to engage in Professional Development opportunities to raise skill levels and ability to develop meaningful activities which explore and inform young people of the risks of serious youth violence.
  • 75 young people to establish a meaningful trusted relationship which adults in the community which leads to increased personal outcomes.
  • 20% of young people to report an increase in personal and emotional development and resilience.
  • Providers to track the number of successful interventions which have helped prevent a young person from engaging in offending, serious violence, or exploitation. 

    What age group will be supported by the project?
    Secondary & Sixth Form age group. 11 to 19 yrs inclusive. 

    How many young people (aged 24 and under) will be supported by the project?
    220 Young People aged 11-19 yrs.

    (RG Note) This funding is to support all Fenland Towns.
