My First Real Train Journey In Many Years….

Having been to many ‘community rail partnership’ meetings in the past prior ‘Covid’
I thought today I’d go with a couple of friends to the ‘event’ at March Railway Station.
Bit challenging the first time I’ve taken my electric wheelchair, but after a couple of hic-ups – we were fine – the ride was excellent, clean, comfortable and quiet train journey.
Ramp at March saw me off OK and met with some of the group whom I’d met many years ago. Cllr Bob Wicks (Coates) was there.
An hour and a half later we were back in Whittlesey, a few challenges if you have disabilities but there was help on hand. £6:40 standard return (no railcard discount).
