This afternoon the planned Saxongate Residents Group, met at Whittlesey Town Council, the agenda concerned ongoing issues at/around the Saxon works, the compliance of planning regulations and future engagements working with the companies operating from the site.
It was the first time that all interested parties sat around a table, which included 2 Officers from Fenland District Council,
the Environment Agency and a Planning Officer from FDC.
Representing Saxongate were 3 members of their committee and for Council, present were
Cllr Mason (Chair), Cllr Miscandlon, Cllr Boden and Myself Roy G.
I believe we all came away with some positive ways forward.
