The Community Safety Charter

The Community Safety Charter is a project where Neighbourhood Watch members, local residents, businesses, and organisations, agree to do whatever they can together to provide an environment that is safer for everyone.

Joining the Charter is entirely free and is open to all. Signing up to our Community Safety Charter pledges will ensure that you receive email training packs on Anti Social Behaviour, Street Harassment and also how to safely become an active bystander and report incidents.

The Pledges are to:

  • Promote a culture that does not tolerate antisocial behaviour, harassment, intimidation and hostility towards others
  • Enable others to identify and take an active stance against these crimes and incidents
  • Actively encourage and support those who experience or witness these crimes and incidents to report them to the relevant authorities
  • Support those affected and signpost those who need further support to agencies who can help them

To join the thousands of Neighbourhood Watch members across England and Wales who have signed up to the Charter already, click this link  https://www.ourwatch.org.uk/charter to visit our national Neighbourhood Watch site Community Safety Charter page.
