We’re hosting a road safety day of action on Thursday on March Market Square from 10am to 2pm.
Lots of partner agencies will be joining in with the fun, including Cambs Speedwatch, Cambridgeshire Fire and Rescue, Tyre Pros March, and the Road Victims Trust. The professionals will be on hand to provide advice for all aspects of road safety, from eyesight advice for drivers, to tyre safety checks and car seat checks – and there will be a smoothie bike!
This road safety day is part of Project Edward, a nationwide project to promote road safety, Edward standing for ‘Every Day Without A Road Death’. The theme for this year’s week of action is to change minds and change behaviour on our roads.
